Cong TV Humorously Debunks Viral Fake News About Him and Team Payaman
Renowned YouTube content creator Lincoln Velasquez a.k.a Cong TV, discredits the malicious social media post linking him and the rest of Team Payaman in a political event.
It could be recalled that earlier this week, the misleading Facebook post announced that the 30-year-old vlogger and his team would be attending a campaign rally supporting a particular Presidential candidate.
Aside from Cong TV, the post claims that other local artists will also be present during the event. It allegedly includes Agsunta, Kamikazee, IV of Spade, Parokya ni Edgar, Zack Tabudlo, and more. Most of the said personalities immediately denied their association with the campaign rally in Zamboanga City.
Fake News
In a Facebook post, Cong TV being his humorous self denied the news in a witty manner. He reposted a social media post from a news outlet with a caption: “‘Di nga makapagvalorant tas mangangampanya pa. Fake news.”
In the comments section, Cong once again quipped: “Hirap nga payagan magbasketball tas kampanya pa.”
As usual, Cong TV’s funny response to the fake news gained equally comical reactions from his legion of fans.
Meanwhile, in a recent vlog entry, Cong once again denied Team Payaman’s association with the said event.
After asking her longtime girlfriend and fellow vlogger Viy Cortez if he could join the other Team Payaman boys in a basketball game, Cong explained how impossible it is for him to be a part of campaign events.
“So ayun guys, confirmed po. Yung mga nakikita nyo po sa internet na sinasabing pupunta kami sa ganito, pupunta kami sa ganyan, wala pong katotohanan lahat ng yan. Fake news!”
Official Statement
After personally denying the claims, VIYLine Media Group also posted an official statement denying Cong TV and Team Payaman’s association with any political event.
“In lieu of the circulating media post on Facebook, Cong TV and the rest of Team Payaman is not in any way and form affiliated with any political posts and events.
